Best AI creative platform with team seats for an agency

Runway, Higgsfield, Magnific, Adobe Firefly and Miravela all offer shared workspaces. The right pick depends on client review, spend control and model range.

For an agency, the best AI creative platform is the one that matches how you hand work to clients, not the one with the most seats. Runway suits video-first teams, Higgsfield suits multi-model video teams that want pooled credits, Magnific and Adobe Firefly suit teams that live on a canvas or in Creative Cloud, and Miravela suits agencies that need brief-to-delivery with per-brand folders, per-member credit caps and client approval portals. Miravela is in beta since September 2026, so younger than the others, which matters if you need a long track record.

What "team seats and shared workspaces" should mean for an agency

Most tools now sell a shared workspace. The differences that matter for agency work are narrower:

  • Client separation. Can each brand have its own folder, members and budget?
  • Spend control. Can you cap what one member consumes from a shared credit pool?
  • Client review. Do comments and approvals happen inside the tool, or in email?
  • Model range. Can you use different models per job without separate subscriptions?
  • Data handling. Where is data stored, and are client files used for training?

A tool that is excellent for an in-house team of three can be awkward for an agency with twelve clients and freelancers rotating in and out.

How the main options compare

Tool Team structure Strongest for Watch out for
Runway Self-serve Team plan for 2 to 9 seats, with shared projects, one pooled credit balance and frame-accurate commenting Video-first teams that edit in Premiere Pro, After Effects or Resolve More seats, multiple workspaces or SSO require an Enterprise quote
Higgsfield Team supports 2 to 9 seats, Scale 5 to 15, plus a custom Enterprise tier Teams that want many video models and pooled credits On Team, members draw from the pool without per-member spend controls
Magnific (formerly Freepik) Business plan seats draw from one global credit pool; shared Spaces canvas Teams that want an infinite canvas plus stock assets Published seat limits differ between sources; confirm before buying
Adobe Firefly Firefly for teams includes shared assets and Admin Console seat controls Teams already on Creative Cloud Indemnity applies mainly to Adobe's own outputs, not partner models
Miravela Per-brand folders with roles and credit caps per member Agencies delivering campaigns to brand clients Beta; fewer years in market

Runway: strongest video collaboration

Runway's Team plan is priced per seat, and every seat adds 6,900 credits a month to a single shared pool. Its review tooling is real: you can manage each client in its own project and keep reviews inside the work instead of in email. Native plugins bring Runway into Premiere Pro, After Effects and Resolve. If your agency is a motion shop with editors in those tools, Runway is probably the better choice than Miravela. The ceiling is the seat cap: Team workspaces support 2 to 9 seats.

Higgsfield: many models, pooled credits

Higgsfield's Team plan is a shared workspace with pooled credits and shared Assets. Scale adds more credits per seat, a priority queue, SSO and per-member spend controls. For agencies with several clients, sub-workspaces become useful when separate clients need their own members, assets or credit allocations. Miravela's own comparison with it is on the Higgsfield comparison page.

Magnific and Adobe: canvas and suite

Freepik's AI tools now sit under the Magnific name: Freepik rebranded to Magnific in April 2026. In its shared Spaces, comments are attached to specific nodes and areas, not lost in email threads, and Spaces supports real-time collaboration. It is a good fit for teams that think in node-based workflows.

Adobe Firefly Boards lets you share to collaborate with your team or go into presentation mode to share with clients. Users with premium features get unlimited boards; other plans are limited to 3. Adobe is the natural choice when your designers already work in Photoshop and Premiere. Read the legal terms before relying on indemnification: it applies to output from eligible features on eligible surfaces.

Where Miravela fits

Miravela is built around the agency-to-brand relationship. You paste an email, voice note or deck, and the built-in agent turns it into a structured brief, concepts and prompts. It then picks among 12 image and video models and applies the client's brand kit automatically. Runway offers per-client projects too, but Miravela adds several agency-specific pieces on top: one folder per brand with roles and credit caps per member, a shared selection, and private client portals where the marketing lead reviews, comments and approves.

Comments come back inside the platform, and every deliverable is copied automatically to the subscriber's own Google Drive. Sorting is by client and collection.

Pricing is in euros with credits and no per-model surcharge. Studio is €199 a month (self-serve), Signature is €490 a month (adds your own branded instance, and custom agents), and Enterprise is €1,790 a month (adds on-site partnership), all excluding VAT. The pricing page has the details, including what each plan includes for team members. Data is hosted in the European Union (Paris), each workspace is isolated, Miravela does not train models on client content, and the prompt history of each visual is kept and exportable. The models themselves run at their providers (Google, OpenAI, ByteDance, Kuaishou and others), not in Europe.

What Miravela's platform data says about shared queues

Miravela platform data for the last 90 days: 8,544 generations were started and 8,079 completed, of which 7,307 were images and 1,237 were videos. Model speed varies a lot. GPT Image 2 had a median generation time of 95 seconds across 3,074 generations (95.9% completed), while Nano Banana 2 had a median of 26 seconds (89.5% completed). For a team, this means the same review round takes noticeably longer on one model than another. A tool that picks models per job, and shows completion rates, helps you plan a client afternoon. Completion rate is not quality: the faster model completed fewer jobs in this sample.

How to choose

  1. Count your clients, not your seats. If you have many brands, prioritise per-client folders and budgets.
  2. Check spend control. Ask whether an admin can cap one member's credits, and on which plan.
  3. Decide where client review happens. If clients must approve inside the tool, check for portals, not just internal comments.
  4. Match the media. Video-heavy, editor-led work leans towards Runway; mixed campaign imagery and video leans towards a multi-model platform.
  5. Check seat ceilings. Several tools cap self-serve teams at 9 to 15 seats before an Enterprise quote.
  6. Read the data terms. Hosting location, training on your content and indemnification differ between vendors.
  7. Run a one-client pilot. Brief, generate, review and deliver one real project before moving the agency.

Which to pick

If your team is editors in Adobe apps, start with Adobe. If you want pooled video credits and many models, look at Higgsfield or Runway. If your work is brief-driven campaigns for fashion, beauty, luxury or hospitality clients, with approvals and Drive delivery, try Miravela, keeping its beta status in mind. See Miravela for agencies.

Questions

Which AI creative platform is best for an agency with several clients?
Choose on client separation and review, not seat count. Runway and Higgsfield offer per-client projects or sub-workspaces, and Miravela offers one folder per brand with roles, credit caps per member and private client portals. Pilot one real client project on your shortlist.
Do shared credit pools let one person use up the team's budget?
On pooled plans, yes, unless spend controls exist. Higgsfield's Team plan has no per-member spend controls, while its Scale plan lets admins pause a member's usage. Miravela lets agencies set credit caps per member.
Does Miravela run its AI models in Europe?
No. Models run at their providers, such as Google, OpenAI, ByteDance and Kuaishou. Only Miravela's data and platform are hosted in the EU, in Paris, and Miravela does not train models on client content.
