Higgsfield vs Krea vs Freepik for Agency Client Work
Krea has the strongest team controls, Higgsfield the strongest video and ad tooling, Freepik (now Magnific) the stock library. None replaces a client approval flow.
For agency client work, Krea has the most mature team layer of the three: a flat-price Business plan, admin controls and a commercial licence that names client work. Higgsfield is the better pick when the deliverable is cinematic video or template-driven ads. Freepik, now rebranded Magnific, fits agencies that also need a large stock library and upscaling. All three are credit-based generators that sit upstream of your review process, so the real question is how much of the brief-to-approval workflow you want inside the tool.
What agencies actually need from these tools
Client work raises requirements that individual creators don't have. You need a licence that explicitly covers client deliverables. You need to know whether your inputs and outputs can be used to train the vendor's models. You need shared workspaces with spend limits per person, and a way to get a client to approve work without a thread of screenshots. Model variety and price per image come after those.

How the three compare
| Higgsfield | Krea | Freepik (Magnific) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strongest at | Video, camera control, ad templates | Model breadth, team admin, LoRA training | Stock library, upscaling, many media types |
| Team plans | Team, Scale, Enterprise | Business, Enterprise | Business, Enterprise |
| Commercial licence | Paid plans; check terms | Paid plans, client work named | Paid plans, per licence terms |
| Billing | Credits per model and resolution | Compute units | Credits, annual pool |
Higgsfield
Higgsfield is a credit-based platform with its own cinematic tools. Soul ID, Cinema Studio, Marketing Studio, and Lipsync Studio use the same credit balance as generation. Marketing Studio is template-first, with 1,500+ templates across Ads, Product Shots, Marketplace, Posters, UGC Video, and Motion, according to Higgsfield's own comparison page.
For agencies, the Team plan supports 2 to 9 seats, while the Scale plan supports 5 to 15 seats, and Scale includes SSO, per Krea's breakdown of Higgsfield pricing. Enterprise is custom-priced.
Three points to check before signing:
- Credit mechanics. Higgsfield's pricing guide says unused credits don't roll over. Failed generations are usually refunded automatically, but completed ones are not, even if you don't like the result. Re-rolls on a difficult brief therefore cost real budget.
- Cost variance. On Seedance 2.0, going from 720p to 1080p almost triples the price, so quote clients by resolution.
- Training terms. Krea, a competitor, reports that Higgsfield's terms grant it a licence to use inputs and outputs to train its models unless you delete the content or hold an Enterprise Agreement (source). Read the current terms yourself before uploading unreleased client material.
Krea
Krea is an aggregator with its own image models. Its enterprise page cites 50+ AI models, custom model training, and a node-based workflow builder. For teams, admins can restrict which models are available to specific teams or users, set per-user compute spending limits, and monitor usage in real time.
On licensing, Krea's pricing FAQ says paid plans include a commercial licence covering marketing, advertising, products, and client work. The Free plan is not on that list. Basic, Pro, and Max compute units are allocated monthly and do not roll over. The Business plan includes up to 50 seats at one flat price. Enterprise adds SAML SSO, custom terms of service, priority support with an SLA, and IP indemnification.
For most agencies, Krea's Business plan is the cleanest of the three on paper.
Freepik (now Magnific)
Freepik rebranded to Magnific on 28 April 2026, consolidating its stock asset library with the Magnific upscaler and a suite of generation tools (eesel summary). It now covers image, video, audio, and 3D generation across 30+ models around a 250M+ stock library. You may see both names in search results and invoices.
Its team tier is Business. Photutorial's July 2026 review reports teams of 2 to 100 and lists shared Spaces and projects, central billing, roles, basic SSO, usage reporting, API access, and basic legal indemnification. Enterprise is custom-priced; one review says it adds a no-training-on-your-data guarantee. Treat that as a point to confirm in the contract. The same review notes that "unlimited" is selective: it covers a defined set of image models, while AI video and the most premium image generations always consume credits.
Where Miravela fits
Miravela is an AI image and video production platform for brands and agencies, built in Paris by the team behind the creative studio Mira Studio. It has been in beta since September 2026, so it is younger than the three tools above. It overlaps with them on generation: 12 hand-picked image and video models under one subscription, including Nano Banana 2, GPT Image 2, Seedream, Flux Pro, Veo 3.1 and Kling. It runs each at the model's maximum quality on every plan, with no per-model surcharge.
Where it differs is the workflow around generation. You paste a brief (an email, a voice note or a deck) and an agent structures it. Brand kits are applied automatically. Clients review, comment and approve in a private portal, and every deliverable is copied to your own Google Drive. Agencies get one folder per brand, with roles and credit caps per member. Data is hosted in the EU (Paris), workspaces are isolated, Miravela never trains models on client content, and the prompt history of each visual is exportable. The models themselves run at their providers (Google, OpenAI, ByteDance, Kuaishou and others), not in Europe. Plans are Studio at €199 per month, Signature at €490 and Enterprise at €1,790, excluding VAT. There is a direct comparison with Higgsfield if you want one.
Pick another tool when you need Higgsfield's camera-control and ad-template tooling, Krea's real-time canvas and LoRA training, or Freepik's stock library. Miravela offers none of these in its public feature list.

What Miravela platform data says about turnaround
Miravela's own database for the last 90 days shows 8,544 generations started and 8,079 completed, of which 7,307 were images and 1,237 were videos. Speed varies a lot by model. These are Miravela platform data, not a benchmark of the other tools:
- Nano Banana 2 had a median time of 26 s.
- GPT Image 2 had a median time of 95 s over 3,074 generations.
- Seedance 2.0 had a median time of 312 s, and Seedance 2.5 456 s.
An image round fits inside a client call. A video round of five minutes or more per clip does not. Whatever tool you choose, queue video batches before the review slot, and keep a still-image fallback for the live session.
How to choose
- Check the licence in writing. Confirm it names client deliverables, and confirm which plan tier it applies to.
- Check the training clause. Ask whether inputs and outputs can be used for model training, and whether an enterprise agreement changes that.
- Count seats and spend controls. Per-member caps matter once three or more people share a budget.
- Match the tool to the deliverable. Video-first work points to Higgsfield. Broad image experimentation and model governance point to Krea. Stock plus upscaling points to Freepik.
- Decide where approval happens. If clients still approve over email, factor in the time that costs you. A portal such as Miravela's removes it.
- Model the credit burn. Re-rolls, 4K and long clips cost more everywhere. Run a real brief on a trial before committing.
Questions
- Which is best for an agency: Higgsfield, Krea or Freepik?
- Krea has the most developed team controls: a flat-price Business plan, per-user spend limits, model restrictions and a licence that names client work. Higgsfield is stronger for video and ad templates. Freepik (Magnific) is stronger when you also need stock assets and upscaling.
- Can I use Higgsfield, Krea or Freepik output commercially for clients?
- Krea's FAQ lists a commercial licence on its paid plans, covering client work. Freepik's paid plans include commercial use under their licence terms. Higgsfield lists commercial use on paid plans, but its terms and pricing table have been read differently by reviewers. Confirm the current wording for your plan before delivering.
- Is Freepik the same as Magnific?
- Yes. Freepik rebranded to Magnific on 28 April 2026, merging its stock library with the Magnific upscaler and its AI generation tools. Old freepik.com URLs redirect, and some documentation still uses the Freepik name.
